Probably The Best CSR In Myanmar

On August 1st (Wednesday) - "Probably The Best CSR In Myanmar" from Myanmar Carlsberg Company Limited (MCCL) happens in Bago Region. A Brewery of Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd is located in Nyaung Inn Village Industrial Zone in Bago, a city 80 kilometers north of Yangon.

One of Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd's CSR initiatives of community based is to supporting flood victims in Bago Region. Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd feels the same with flood victims and shows them to be stay strong together. Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd is always staying with them all.

 

Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd donates rice, drinking water, canned tuna, instant noodles, 2 in 1 coffee mix, pickled tea leave & fried mix beans salad, fish pastes, breads & snacks to Kawn Paung villagers (1136 people in total, 230 households) in Bago Region. Employees from MCCL spend times with flood victims by doing many games and singing many songs together.

 

In this monsoon season, people in Bago Region wade through floodwater as they move to higher ground. Five people dead, nearly 100,000 people have been forced to flee their homes by widespread flooding in seven states and regions during these weeks but many evacuees have begun returning to their homes.

 

The monsoon will be upgraded in Myanmar coastal areas because of a depression that could trigger more rain through August, is the rainiest month of the year in Myanmar, when water levels of rivers are likely to rise and cause more flooding. Myanmar Carlsberg Co., Ltd is willing to "Caring is Contribution" to communities in Myanmar.
